The Los Alamitos/Seal Beach Rotary Club hosted Los Alamitos Police Department Officer Justine Kim at their meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at Pike Restaurant and Grill in Los Alamitos.
Officer Kim discussed her cultural background, experiences growing up in the United States, and how it relates to her role as a peace officer. A book was donated to the Los Alamitos School District, this year's recognition for the Rotary Club's speakers.
Los Alamitos Police Chief Todd Mattern presented a token to Office Kim inscribed with the Rotary 4-Way Test: ("1. Is it the truth? 2. Is it fair to all concerned 3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships? 4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?").
