Outlaws Ride to Series

The SoCal Outlaws captured the Western Baseball League Championship for the Northern Division, an affiliate of National Baseball Congress. Their 2014 summer season record was 44-7, which qualified the team to compete in the NBC World Series in Wichita, Kansas July 25 through August 9. Twenty-plus players from all over Southern California colleges are the hand-picked talent of this team, coached by Cypress resident Greg Harris (a local Los Al Alumni, and former MLB pitcher of 15 years), Cypress resident Jack Hill (general manager) and Kirk Shrider (asst. manager/recruiter). Players included Los Al High alum, Conor Bish. The team is seeking fundraising efforts to cover expenses to make the trip to the World Series. Anyone wishing to assist the team can contace Hill at jack@socaloutlaws.com.
