Los Alamitos Youth Baseball (LAYB) announced that they once again host the 2014 Pony Baseball Bronco 12 World Series on Aug. 1 – 4.  The 4-day tournament hosts the top 12-year-old baseball teams from Asia, Caribbean, Mexico and the United States.

For this year's Bronco World Series, local merchant Chick-fil-A of the Shops at Rossmoor has become the title sponsor.

Chick-fil-A is one of the newest restaurants in town and has made a commitment to community service and support as part of their franchise. Their sponsorship of LAYB includes field-naming rights of the Bronco field, which will host the World Series championship game.

Chick-fil-A has also been running a fun sponsorship of the Shetland field where the 4 to 6-year old kids play. The Chick-fil-A fun ZONE awards prizes and free kid's meals to any player who can hit the ball off or over the left-field wall. They join returning Platinum sponsor Wells-Fargo, which has supported LAYB with another generous contribution including field naming rights to the Mustang field.

PONY Baseball Bronco League World Series continues to grow each year bringing in thousands of spectators. They are expecting approximately 5,000 guests to Los Alamitos.

LAYB has had a long-standing local reputation of a premier baseball facility and they are thrilled to be able to showcase their fields on an international level. They are encouraging everyone to come out and watch some of the most talented 12-year-old baseball players from around the world.
