Tina Dingillo was recently named the Orange County Confidential Employee of the Year by the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), for Region 17. She is the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and the Los Alamitos Board of Education and was recognized at the Los Alamitos Unified School District Board meeting on March 25.
ACSA annually recognizes outstanding administrators for their leadership skills, professionalism, creativity, innovation, and commitment to a quality education.
Dingillo works in the Superintendent’s office and assists with operations throughout the District including Board of Education meetings. She is often the face of the District, serving and supporting staff, families, and community members. Her “can do” attitude and exemplary initiative help to ensure that matters are handled professionally, compassionately and efficiently.
“Tina is exemplary in all aspects of her job,” said Los Alamitos Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Sherri Kropp, “She makes coming to work a complete joy for me. Her expertise, compassion, and professionalism truly mark her as the best in her field.”
“She is well respected and admired by the District Community, and we are thrilled that she has received this county recognition and honor,” added Dr. Kropp.
The 41st annual ACSA "Administrators of the Year and Friends of Education Awards" dinner will be held on Monday, May 12.
Dingillo has been with the District for 13 years. She and her husband, Gary Dingillo, are proud parents of a Los Alamitos 2nd grader.
