It was a great day to celebrate the annual Pinewood Derby at St. Hedwig Church, with racers checking in their freshly painted and tested custom cars, hoping for a checkered flag. More than 65 cars were registered and raced on a custom-built track including some cars made by siblings and parents in their own category. Overall winners are pictured: 1st place – Colin D. (Tiger), 2nd place Alexander F. (Bear), 3rd place Jack H. (Webelos 2), and 4th place Matthew R (Webelos 1). Also pictured are Cubmaster Brian Foy, who coordinated and ran the derby, and distributed the trophies, awards and patches.
