The St. Irenaeus Parish 50th Anniversary Fiesta of Super Heroes will host games, carnival rides, food booths, music and entertainment for all to enjoy on June 20, 21 and 22 on St. Irenaeus Parish grounds. Everyone is invited to come.
The St. Irenaeus Parish 50th Anniversary Fiesta of Super Heroes will host games, carnival rides, food booths, music and entertainment for all to enjoy on June 20, 21 and 22 on St. Irenaeus Parish grounds. Everyone is invited to come.
About 25 parishioners gathered recently to prepare a mailing for 4,400 church members with information on the fiesta and a booklet of raffle tickets. Each parishioner was asked to sell one book of 40 tickets at $2 each for a total of $80 dollars.
The Fiesta Committee said that the support of each parishioner is needed for the event to be a successful fundraiser.
As incentive, there are ‘special sellers’ tickets at the end of each book entitling a one time chance to win the $100 Early Bird Drawing. The drawing will be held on May 18 after the 5 p.m. Mass. The winner need not be present to win but the winnings must be picked up by 6 p.m. on June 22.
The Fiesta Committee said that ticket stubs, money and unsold tickets can be returned to St. Irenaeus Parish Office or to the patio area of the church after all weekend masses starting April 12. The committee will also be taking sign-ups for volunteers for the fiesta and will be available to answer questions.
