Cerritos failed to get any shots in the net, and their only shot on frame was stopped by amazing diving save by PSC keeper Sophia Reddy.

The PSC team has been competing in competitive club leagues and tournaments for several years, and began their passion for soccer with AYSO Region 159 Los Alamitos, one of the largest and most successful youth soccer groups in the area.

“We started as a recreational soccer team like many of the kids in the area join,” said Rob Poetsch, head coach.

“As our players improved and developed, we progressed to All-Stars, then into AYSO’s Extra program which is more competitive.  When it came time to move to Club Soccer, we looked at the many options out there.  We moved to PSC because it’s a part of AYSO and shares the same philosophies, including ‘everyone plays,’ which ensures all players get game time so they can develop their skills.”

Pacific Soccer Club is one of the fastest growing clubs in our area because it provides competitive teams, experienced licensed trainers and player development at a lower cost than most soccer clubs.
