RWC recognizes its Students of Month

The Rossmoor Woman’s Club (RWC) recently announced Los Alamitos High School “Seniors of the Month” Jenny Lee and Jon Pajaud for January and February, respectively.

Lee moved to the Los Alamitos area in the1st grade, and started playing water polo at 10 years old. She is currently a starter on the Los Alamitos High School varsity water polo team.  Because of her water polo ability, she has been a paid water polo/swim coach for two years. Along with her many other accomplishments, she is a director of the National French Honors Society, a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist, and for the past two years has been recognized as a USAWP Academic All-American.

Pajaud is enrolled in the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) program that enables students to take college-level courses while still in high school. He is pursuing a double major in Astrophysics and Biomedical Engineering. His interest in these fields started in Oak Middle School. He has taken 12 AP courses earning a Certificate of Excellence in both AP Physics C and AP Biology. He also has displayed a musical talent for the cello as well as earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
