The Run Seal Beach organization recently announced their 2014 Grant Awards and their total giving this year was $168,420. The total number of individual grants awarded for this year was 88, handed out to 82 different organizations.
The Run Seal Beach organization recently announced their 2014 Grant Awards and their total giving this year was $168,420. The total number of individual grants awarded for this year was 88, handed out to 82 different organizations.
Of the total, $149,620 will be awarded through the Grant Request process where organizations in the community applied for funding. Sixty-four separate grants to 60 different organizations received funding through this process.
Additionally, $18,800 has being awarded as 24 separate Directors Awards to 23 organizations for 2014.
Through the course of the year, they will post pictures and other information sent to them by those who were awarded grants to visually show the outreach impact of their program on their website at www.RunSealBeach.com/GrantOutreach.
