Project doesn’t make sense

Dear Editor,

Dear Editor,

We received a notice card in the mail recently from Cypress about the proposed develop of housing on 30 acres of the former golf course to be voted on by City of Cypress residents as Measure A.  This information looks good but unless the residents see the whole picture of this plan and the Prologis plan then it doesn’t look so good.  Why would anyone want to live in the middle of an industrial area, race tract, noise of trucks all night, and a commercial shopping center next to them?  It doesn’t make sense!

As a Cypress resident we never received a notice in the mail about the plans for the 33-acre Prologis Project with all the details and information from the City of Cypress.  We just read about it, after the fact, in the New Enterprise.

To make it fair, before the residents of Cypress vote for Measure A they should be informed in detail of both plans, Prologis and Measure A so they can see the whole picture of what is being planned and proposed in order to make a prudent decision on what is best for our community.
