The congregation of Community Congregational United Church of Christ in Los Alamitos held an installation ceremony for Rev. Ceniceros on Sunday, Jan. 4. The installation was conducted by members of the Central Association of the Southern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ.
Rev. Dr. Jon L. Berquist gave the sermon, and special music was provided by vocalist Joaquim Dixon of Creative Identity, with accompaniment by George Gilliam, music therapist and professional guitarist. Rev. Ceniceros was called as pastor to the Los Alamitos congregation in June of 2013, and was ordained at her home church in Sedona, Arizona in October 2013.
