All Los Alamitos residents were invited to participate in the 2013 Holiday Decorating Contest by the City of Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department.
Judges from the community selected 1st and 2nd place winners in each of the Los Alamitos neighborhoods on Dec. 11.
All residences decorated with holiday displays and lights on were considered. Signs will be distributed to each winner for display in front of their home. Winners are encouraged to keep decorations on display throughout the holiday season. A map of the winning homes will be posted on the city website for community members to visit during the holiday season.
