The Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department invites the community to celebrate the Class of 2020 during the week of Monday, May 25 – Friday, May 29 during Graduation Week. Residents are encouraged to celebrate a graduate from preschool, Kindergarten, 5th grade, 8th grade, or high school senior graduate in their life by participating in various activities throughout the week.
• Monday, May 25- Display lawn signs and other decorations in the front yard to celebrate the Class of 2020. Incorporate the school’s mascot into the decorations to show school spirit.
• Tuesday, May 26- Demonstrate school pride by decorating the outside of your house with your school’s colors.
• Wednesday, May 27- Celebrate your graduate by decorating your front door of photos of them throughout the years.
• Thursday, May 28- Create chalk art outside your house to honor the Class of 2020.
• Friday, May 29- Commemorate your graduate by displaying their plans after graduation. Decorate the front yard with their future school’s colors, career aspirations, or lawn signs.
