Two hundred people enjoyed an exciting evening of gaming and fun at the Los Alamitos Education Foundation (LAEF) and Los Alamitos Police Officers Association’s (Los Al POA) Casino Night on Sept. 27 at the Los Alamitos Community Center. The fundraiser was a huge success with more than $15,000 raised.
There were 20 gaming tables including Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Poker. Big winners received a trip to Las Vegas, Ducks hockey tickets and gift certificates for shopping and dining. The Lucky Card 50/50 raffle winner took home $1,000, and many door prizes were awarded to those in attendance. Numerous local restaurants donated food and drinks to the event.
LAEF and the Los Al POA are so appreciative that so many stepped up and supported education and safety in the community. Both look forward to bringing this fun-filled night back in 2015.
