LAYB’s Pony 14 A team were the champions of the 2 day USSSA Firecracker NIT tournament at Big League Dreams, Chino Hills over the 4th of July holiday weekend. The LAYB Pony team was 1-1 in pool play with a loss to the SoCal Cavs. Los Alamitos faced the Cavs again in the semifinals, but this time Los Al won the game 7-3. In the championship game, Pony 14 A faced off against a tough South Gate Cardinals team defeating them 8-3 to win the championship.
