Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts from St. Hedwig Church’s scouting program received their Religious Emblem Awards at a ceremony recently held at Our Lady Queen of Angels in Newport Beach.  Religious Emblems are earned separate from the regular scouting program curriculum and require in-depth work and commitment from the scouts, who range in age from 6 to 15 years of age.  Represented in this photo are Cub Scouts from Pack 620 who received their “Light Of Christ” and “Parvuli Dei” awards, and Girl Scouts from Troop 550, who received their “Family of God” and Troop 863 who earned their “Mary, The First Disciple” award.
