Lexy Gerrits (white jersey) of Cypress High took a pass from teammate Ashley Lewan and scored the first goal of the game in a 3-0 victory over Western Feb. 13. The win gave Cypress the Empire League championship and a ticket to the playoffs. Haily Manser was one of six seniors honored by the team following the game. Other seniors include Isabella Suarez, Mia Moore, Ashley Lewan, Meghan Arce and Lexy Gerrits.
