Pictured in the center is Dickie Brown of Los Alamitos High, after he won his CIF-SS wrestling championship at 152 lbs. at Marina High School, last week. Brown was the No. 3 seed going into the tournament and defeated the No. 2 seed from Marina (Peter McCoy) 9-7 in the semi-finals. This was a big match because Brown had lost to him at Sunset League finals just two weeks prior. Brown defeated Nick Ducasse from Atascadero high school in the finals 4-3.
